Latest update --- November 17th 2020.

We are very pleased to announce that

Mrs Tracey Nunn

is now the Centre Administrator

and Centre Manager.

You are able to make contact with her for inquiries, bookings and payments via the normal email  and the normal telephone number and, once we are out of lockdown, at the Centre during normal Office hours which are Monday to Friday 9am to 12pm.

Welcome back to Tracey who has acted in this capacity before.

Covid-19 update

We are now only open  for  permitted activities whilst abiding by the rules and regulations as laid out by the Government during this new lockdown.

If you have any questions or booking requests, please feel very free to contact Tracey via email or the Centre's phone number.

Stay alert and stay safe --- the coronavirus is not yet beaten.

From all the OWCC Trustees

The Computer Suite (that has been inactive since the covid-19 lockdown started) is opening up ready for business again once this current lockdown is over.

But the "new normal" is as follows:

  • you will need to make a one-to-one appointment by emailing the Centre ( and we will get back to you. Please give some suggested day, dates and times --- though Tuesday mornings is still our favoured day.

  • you will be met at the front entrance --- please do not enter the Centre on your own.

  • time slots of half an hour will be the norm.

  • you must wear a face mask or an appropriate face covering.

  • please use the hand sanitiser on entry.

  • a working distance of one metre must be maintained throughout.

  • it would be better if you could bring your own laptop, tablet, i-pad or smart phone so we will not have to continually disinfect our laptops.

Hope to hear from some of you soon.

And remember:

  • Hands
  • Face
  • Space

A polite notice.

It is a sad state of affairs when we feel the need to place such a notice on our website. But, in today's modern world where there is less and less respect for others shown by a small but vocal minority, we need to make a statement about any anti-social behaviour directed towards those who work at this Community Centre.

Foul and abusive language or threatening behaviour towards our staff will not be tolerated. You will be asked to leave the premises or the police will be called.

The Computer Centre and the Library are open on Tuesdays from 9:30am until 12pm during the school terms.
